The Parnelli Awards are the “Grammy’s” to the Live Event Industry. (Some might call it an award for the “roadies” – Lighting Designer of the Year goes to the woman who did U2’s tour, Audio Engineer of the Year goes to the Front of House Mixer for Taylor Swift, etc.)

t’s prestigious enough to bring out the stars, and past shows had Brooks & Dunn, Paul Anka, Tom Petty, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, and other artists wanting to come in person to honor those who work behind the scenes enabling great live events to happen. Previous Emcee’s have included Todd Rundgren, Alice Cooper, Dennis DeYoung, Fee Waybill, Kevin Lyman, and Adrian Belew, among others.
I’m the head writer and produce the show working with presenters, production professionals, create the graphics, write and produce the Lifetime Achievement Award Documentaries, and everything associated with making a live award show a success. It’s a lot of work, and a lot of fun.
